India Hops on Quantum Supremacy Bandwagon with NM-QTA
The Government of India, in the Union Budget 2020, has announced a National Mission on Quantum Technologies and Applications (NM-QTA) with a total budget outlay of Rs 8000 crore for a period of five years.
National Mission on Quantum Technologies & Applications
- In line with the aim of achieving excellence in the quantum frontier, which happens to be one of the nine missions under Prime Minister’s Science, Technology and Innovation Advisory Council (PM-STIAC), the Government has announced a National Mission on Quantum Technologies & Applications (NM-QTA).
