खण्ड-अ (Section-A)
- राष्ट्रीय शक्ति को समकालीन चिन्तन के आलोक में परिभाषित कीजिए। इसके अमूर्त निर्धारक तत्त्व क्या हैं? समझाइए। Define National Power in the light of contemporary thinking. What are its intangible determinants? Explain.
- राष्ट्रीय शक्ति के प्रमुख एक अवयव के रूप में ‘वैज्ञानिक एवं प्राद्योगिक क्षमता’ की भूमिका पर प्रकाश डालिए। Elucidate the role of 'Scientific and Technological Capability' as a key component of National Power.
- ‘शक्ति संतुलन’ के क्लासिकीय सिद्धांत की व्याख्या कीजिए और शीत युद्धोत्तरकालीन परिघटनाओं के आलोक में इसकी परिसीमाओं का परीक्षण कीजिए। Explain the classical theory of the 'Balance of Power' and examine its limitations in the light of post-cold war developments.
- छोटे एवं हल्के हथियारों के प्रसार का दक्षिण एशिया के क्षेत्रीय सुरक्षा परिवेश पर पड़ने वाले प्रभाव का मूल्यांकन कीजिए। Evaluate the impact of proliferation of small arms and light weapons on the regional security environment of South Asia.
- भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच सुरक्षा एवं विदेश नीति सम्बन्धी मुद्दों पर मतवैभिन्य होने के प्रमुख कारणों की व्याख्या कीजिए। Explain the main cause of disagreement between India and Pakistan on the security of foreign policy issues.
- “भारत की नाभिकीय नीति तीव्रता से बदलते वैश्विक परिवेश के अनुरूप स्वयं को ढ़ालने में सक्षम रही है।” समझाइए। "The nuclear policy of India has been able to withstand the test of a fast changing global milieu." Explain.
- भारत में नक्सलवादी खतरे के उभार एवं उसके उपशमन हेतु सम्भावित उपायों पर प्रकाश डालिए। Elucidate the emergence of naxalite threat in India and possible measures for its abatement.
- हिन्द महासागर में भारत की ऊर्जा सुरक्षा से सम्बन्धित हितों एवं चुनौतियों की विवेचना कीजिए। Discuss the interests and challenges related to India's energy security in the Indian Ocean.
