Uttar Pradesh ranks first in domestic tourist arrivals among all states of India with more than 71 million, owing to its rich and varied topography, vibrant culture, festivals, monuments, ancient places of worship, and viharas.

Uttar Pradesh is a favored tourist destination in India with Taj Mahal, one of the eight wonders of the world, located in Agra. According to UP tourism data, there were total tourists visits Uttar Pradesh in 2023 was about 48,01,27,191; in which domestic travelling consists of about 47,85,25,688 and foreign tourists was about 16,01,503.
