Analyse Gandhiji’s perspective on Swaraj and its implications on India’s freedom movement.

Answer: The word Swaraj means self-rule but Gandhiji equated it to an integral revolution encompassing all spheres of life. On individual scale it meant the rule which self exercises over itself. Politically Swaraj is self government independent of government control, whether it is foreign government or national. Economically, Swaraj means full economic freedom for the toiling millions
