Kushok Bakula Rinpoche
During a recent visit to Nimu in Ladakh, the Prime Minister of India recalled greatness of Ladakh’s culture as well as the noble teachings of Kushok Bakula Rimpoche.
- Kushok Bakula Rimpoche was a prominent Buddhist monk, statesman and international diplomat often called “The architect of Modern Ladakh”.
- Rinpoche is believed to be the 19th incarnation of Bakula, one of the 16 arhats or disciples of Buddha.
