Successful Test of Agni Prime
On April 3, 2024, India conducted a successful flight test of the Agni Prime ballistic missile, reinforcing its strategic deterrence capabilities.
- Conducted By: Strategic Forces Command (SFC) and DRDO.
- Launch Site: Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Island, Odisha.
- First Tested: June 2021.
- Range: 1,000 km to 2,000 km.

- Canisterized missile, capable of being launched from road or rail platforms.
- Solid-propellant, two-stage missile, weighing 23-25 tons.
