India Elected to GlobE Steering Committee
India has been elected to the 15-member Steering Committee of the Global Operational Network of Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Authorities (GlobE Network).
- The decision was made during a plenary session in Beijing on September 26, 2024, following a multi-stage voting process.
- As a Steering Committee member, India will contribute to shaping the global agenda on corruption and asset recovery.
About the GlobE Network
- India supported the formation of the GlobE Network in 2020.
- The network was officially launched on June 3, 2021, during the UN General Assembly Special Session against Corruption (UNGASS).
