Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meeting
India hosted the 46th Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meeting (ATCM-46) and the 26th Committee on Environmental Protection (CEP-26) from May 20 to May 30, 2024, in Kochi, Kerala.
- Hosted by: Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India, through the National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research (NCPOR), Goa, in collaboration with the Antarctic Treaty Secretariat (Argentina).
- Theme: “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (One Earth, One Family, One Future), aligning with the Antarctic Treaty System’s principles of peace, scientific cooperation, and conservation.
