Wildlife Protection Act, 1972

Effective legislation is required to prevent environmental degradation and misuse. It is needed to control the destructive practises of unscrupulous persons, forest mafia groups, poachers, polluters, and over-exploitation of environmental resources. As a result, environmental issues are inherently global. As a result, environmental legislation is required not only at the national but also at the worldwide level to prevent such situations.
