Jal Jeevan Mission Urban
In a significant landmark, Jal Jeevan Mission on 18th Feb. 2022 achieved the milestone of providing tap water to every home of 100 districts in the country.
Jal Jeevan Mission (Urban) was announced by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs in Union Budget 2021- 22.

- Development of in-village piped water supply infrastructure.
- Development of reliable drinking water sources and/or augmentation of existing sources to provide long-term sustainability of water supply system.
