IIT-Guwahati team, in an observation, recommended Virtual Water analysis for better water management policies in India on 14th June 2021.
About Virtual Water
- Water used in the production and exchange of food and non-food commodities and services is referred to as virtual water (VW). It's the "invisible" water that has been consumed during the product or service's lifecycle. For example, manufacturing 1 kg of rice necessitates 3000 gallons of water on average.
