Prime Minister’s Development Initiative for North Eastern Region (PM-DevINE)
- Recently, the Union Minister for Development of North Eastern Region has recently stated about the PM-DevINE scheme in Lok Sabha.
- PM-DevINE is a Central Sector Scheme that aims at rapid and holistic development of the North- East Region by funding infrastructure and social development projects.
- It envisages creation of infrastructure, support industries, social development projects and create livelihood activities for youth and women, enhancing employment generation.
