Challenges
- Porosity of Borders: Deserts, marshes, plains, and mountains are all present along Bangladesh's international borders with Pakistan. Various criminal operations, including smuggling, human trafficking, the trafficking of drugs and weapons, and infiltration, are made easier by the porousness of borders.
- International Borders in Conflict: India is particularly vulnerable to cross-border terrorism because of its long history of mistrust and frequent border clashes with Pakistan along the line of control (LOC).
