National Plan for Polluted Rivers
- To check river pollution, the National Green Tribunal (NGT) has constituted a central monitoring committee to undertake a national initiative to make rivers pollution free.
- It will comprise of a senior representative of Niti Aayog, secretaries, ministries of water resources, urban development, environment, forest and climate change, director general, National Mission for Clean Ganga and chairman of the CPCB.
