Extended Producers Responsibility
- The government has released a much awaited draft of ‘uniform framework for Extended Producers Responsibility’ under Plastic Waste Management Rules (PWMR) 2016.
- The Centre has come out with three different models to be adopted by manufacturers, importers and brand owners to handle the waste under supervision of a central authority.
