State Specific Policies
Some States have released their BiotechnologyPolicies to promote the sector in their State.
- Andhra Pradesh launched its BiotechnologyPolicy 2015-2020 with an aim to attract new investments worth INR 6,000 crore in the sectorby 2020 and create additional employment opportunity for 5,000 skilled personnel in thesector by 2020.
- Gujarat launched its draft Biotechnology Policyof the State for 2016-2021 with an aim to provide focused attention on the biotechnologysector.
- Rajasthan launched Biotechnology Policy 2015with an aim to establish world class research institutes and bio manufacturing infrastructure.
- Telangana launched the Life Sciences Policy(2015-2020) with an aim to make Telangana the most preferred destination for life science activities, ....
