Maharashtra Launches Solar Village Scheme
- On 18th August 2024, Maharashtra Chief Minister inaugurated the Solar Village Scheme, marking Manyachiwadi in Satara district as the state’s first village to achieve 100% solar-powered electricity.
- The Solar Village Scheme aims to provide complete solar-powered electricity to 100 villages across Maharashtra, starting with Manyachiwadi as the first fully electrified solar village.
