11 Wetlands from India Declared Ramsar Sites
Recently, 11 wetlands from India were included in the list of Ramsar sites, taking the total number of such sites in the country to 75.
The 11 new sites include four in Tamil Nadu, three in Odisha, two in Jammu & Kashmir and one each in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
