India-UAE Nuclear Cooperation Agreement
On 9th September, 2024, India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for civil nuclear cooperation, marking a significant step in bilateral relations during the India visit of Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
- The agreement was signed between the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) and the Emirates Nuclear Energy Company (ENEC), emphasizing cooperation in the peaceful use of nuclear energy.
