Earth Movements
The forces which affect the earth’s movement are involved in the creation, destruction, recreation and maintenance of geo-materials and various types of relief features of varying magnitudes. On the basis of origin, these forces are divided into:
- Endogenetic forces, and
- Exogenetic forces.
Endogenetic Forces
The endogenetic forces occurring beneath the surface of the Earth very often change the Earth's topography through the process of creation, destruction, recreation, and maintenance of geo-materials (materials in the Earth crust).
- For example, the relief and topographical features likes mountains, plateaus, cliffs, valleys and ravines.
