Carnivorous Plant Traps: Explaining the Evolution of Complex 'Composite' Traits
- Two tropical pitcher plant species were recently examined by an international team of researchers led by Dr. Ulrike Bauer of the University of Bristol.
- These species include the 'slender pitcher plant' (Nepenthes gracilis), found in Borneo, and Nepenthes perwillii, found in the Seychelles Islands off the east coast of Africa.
