Seoul Forest Declaration
The 15th World Forestry Conference approved the Seoul Forest Declaration.
- The Seoul Forest Declaration made clear that in order to reach the targets set by the international community by 2030, investments in landscape and forest restoration must be tripled worldwide.
- The proclamation also made clear that there cannot exist a healthy economy on an unhealthy earth.
- Also, the declaration demonstrated how tightly linked human health and forest health are, and how forest destruction will seriously harm human health and wellbeing.
