Microbeads

Plastic microbeads are a subset of microplastics, which are often quite minute and occasionally even hard to discern.

  • In addition, plastic pellets—the primary type of raw material used in the production of plastic—which are often shaped like cylinders or discs and measure about 2-3 millimetres in size—are frequently confused with microbeads.
