Global Climate Resilience Fund
A $50 million Global Climate Resilience Fund for women was unveiled by the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI), SEWA, and other organisations.
- The money will support education and new resources for livelihoods while empowering women and communities to combat climate change.
- It strives to offer solutions to the issues faced by women who work in the sun, particularly those who are employed in the unregulated industries like construction, trash recycling, plastics, farming, etc.
- The fund brings together a coalition of organisations that care about these issues, including the American India Foundation, the Clinton Global Initiative, the Rockefeller Resilience Centre, the Desai Foundation, the AI ....
