5G Open Radio Access Network (RAN)

The Open Radio Access Network, or Open RAN, is a crucial component of a mobile network system that connects individual devices to other sections of a network through cellular radio connections.

  • It has antennae that communicate with our cellphones and other suitable devices by sending and receiving signals. The signal is subsequently converted to digital form and connected to the network at the RAN-base station.
