Global Solar Council
- The Global Solar Council (GSC) was launched on December 6, 2015, following the historic United Nations Climate Change Conference (UN COP 21).
- The GSC is the voice of the world’s solar energy industry, a non-profit body based in Washington D.C. representing national, regional and international associations as well as leading solar sector corporations.
- It is run by a 20-strong board of members elected to reflect diverse membership covering both associations from mature and emerging markets and also corporate members. A chair is elected each year to guide the leadership team and represent the Global Solar Council.
