Market Gardening
- Though market gardening is practiced throughout the world wherever there is a large urban population, nowhere else is it so highly specialized as in North-West Europe.
- Several factors account for this. All the north-western European countries (Britain, France, West Germany, Benelux and Denmark) are highly industrialized and have high population densities. There are more towns and cities than in other continents despite its small size.
