National Generic Document Registration System (NGDRS)
- The Department of Land Resources (DoLR) (Ministry of Rural Development) has reported that as many as 28 States/UTs in India have adopted the National Generic Document Registration System (NGDRS) for land records.
- NGDRS was developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) to address the diversity and variations that prevails across the states on account of formats, languages, processes and formulae.
