​Krishi Kalyan Abhiyaan

  • Recently Krishi Kalyan Abhiyan was launched by Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare.
  • Under this, aid, assistance and advice will be provided to farmers to improve their farming techniques and raise their income.
  • Department of Agriculture Cooperative and Farmers Welfare, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Industry and Fisheries, Agriculture Research and Education Department will jointly conduct programs.
  • It is being run in aspiring districtsin every 25 villages having population of more than 1000.
  • Activities covered under the Abhiyaaan are:
  • Distribution of Soil Health Cards to allfarmers
  • 100% coverage of bovine vaccination for Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) in each village
  • 100% coverage of Sheep and Goat for eradication ....
