World Para-Athletics Championships

The 2024 World Para Athletics Championships was held at Kobe Universiade Memorial Stadium in Japan, from 17 to 25 May 2024. India won 17 medals – gold (6), silver (5), and bronze (6). It placed India sixth in the standings. It is India’s best showing at a World Para-Athletics Championships - surpassing the 10 medals won at the 2023 edition in Paris. China topped the medal tally followed by Brazil.
