The 5th Foreign Office Consultations (FOC) at the Secretary level between India and Malaysia took place in Malaysia on 12 April, 2022.

  • Malaysia’s Minister of Higher Education visited India in April 2022 whereas the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia visited India for the Special ASEAN-India Foreign Ministers’ Meeting on 16 June, 2022.
  • Indian High Commission organized a special commemorative event India-Malaysia@65 on 09 September, 2022, to mark the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between India and Malaysia.
  • An agreement was signed on Mutual recognition of Vaccination Certificates in June, 2022.
