Recent Developments
- The year 2021-22 marked the 60th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Prime Minister Modi congratulated Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al Ahmed Al-Sabah on his appointment as Prime Minister of Kuwait on 25 July, 2022.
- A delegation led by the Additional Director General of Foreign Trade visited Kuwait from 17-20 May, 2022 for an anti-dumping investigation concerning imports of Mono Ethylene Glycol (MEG) from certain Kuwaiti companies.
- A delegation from Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) with representatives from the Food and Beverage Sector visited Kuwait from 02-05 July, 2022.
