Centralized Laboratory Network (CLN)
- Recently, India has joined the Centralised Laboratory Network (CLN), which is part of the Coalition forEpidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI).
- It aims to test vaccines for pandemic and epidemic disease outbreaks.
- The CLN now includes new members such as the Indian Council of Medical Research-National Institute of Virology (ICMR-NIV), along with institutions from Senegal, Kenya, South Africa, and Uganda.
- With a total of 15 partner facilities in 13 countries, the CLN has standardized methods and materials for testing vaccines.
