Skilled Farmers: Bright Future of Agriculture
- Agricultural Science Centres (KVK) are guiding and helping farmers by enhancing their knowledge about the latest agricultural technologies and information through various training programs, exhibitions, and workshops.
- The PM Micro Food Processing Enterprises Formalization Scheme (PMFMPE Scheme) is a special initiative for the development of micro food processing enterprises. Under this, individual micro food processing enterprises are provided a 35% subsidy (maximum Rs.10 lakh) to establish or upgrade their units.
- The National Skill Development Mission was launched by the central government in July 2015 under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE).
