- Under the 15th Finance Commission, a grant of Rs 60,750 crore for the year 2020-21 and Rs 2,36,805 crore for the period FY 2021-26 has been allocated to 28 states for all three-tier panchayats and traditional local bodies and Sixth Schedule areas.
- The per capita per annum allocation of Central Finance Commission grant has increased from Rs 54 in the 12th Finance Commission (2005-10) to Rs 674 in the 15th Finance Commission (2021-26).
