Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology 2022
- The winners of the 'Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology-2022' were announced by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in September, 2023. No woman scientist was selected for SSB Award 2022.
- The SSB Awards are the highest multidisciplinary science awards in India. They are named after Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar, founder and director of CSIR, who was also a renowned chemist and visionary.
- The SSB Awards, each worth Rs 5,00,000 (Rupees Five Lakhs only), are awarded annually for significant and outstanding research, applied or fundamental, in the following subjects: Biological Sciences; Chemical Sciences; Earth, Atmosphere, Ocean ....
