Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF)

  • It is managed by the IEPF Authority, set up in 2016 under the provisions of Section 125 of the Companies Act, 2013.
  • IEPF Authority has responsibility of administration of IEPF and promotes awareness among investors, makes refunds of shares, unclaimed dividends, matured deposits and debentures to rightful claimants.
  • It will teach basics to household investors and professionals of rural and urban areas.
