- The Tomars were the feudatories of the Pratiharas.
The Chauhans of Delhi and Ajmer
- Founder: Ajaipal Chauhan
- The Chauhans ruled over the regions of Ujjain and Delhi.
- Their administrative capital was Delhi.
- Prithviraj Chauhan was the most important ruler of the dynasty (fought the battle of Tarain with Mohammad Ghori in 1191-92).
