Welfare Initiatives by State Government
- Recently, the Jharkhand government raised the monthly honorarium for women under the Maiyaan Samman Yojana from Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 2,500.
- Alongside this, the State Cabinet approved 28 proposals aimed at improving infrastructure, education, and social welfare in the state.
- Netarhat Tourism Development: Administrative approval for the development of the Netarhat tourism area, with a total budget of Rs. 43.08 crore.
- Residential Schools: Establishment of new residential schools in Kolhan, Chaibasa, and Santhal Pargana districts to enhance educational opportunities.
- Road Infrastructure: Revised approval for road reconstruction projects totaling Rs. 109.16 crore, aimed at improving connectivity.
