'Vidyut Rakshak'
- On 10th June, 2024, the Indian Army launched 'Vidyut Rakshak', an integrated generator monitoring, protection, and control system developed by the Army Design Bureau (ADB).
- 'Vidyut Rakshak' utilizes Internet of Things (IoT) technology to monitor and control generator parameters across all types and ages of generators in the Indian Army.
- It enables fault prediction, prevention, and automates manual operations, significantly reducing manpower requirements.
