- On 21st June, 2024, the Union Minister of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, and Rural Development urged the state governments to encourage more and more farmers to register on e-Samridhi portal so that they can avail the facility of assured procurement.
- Spearheaded by the National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India (NAFED) and the National Cooperative Consumers Federation of India (NCCF), this platform aims to ensure fair prices and facilitate direct bank transfers for farmers.
