CSIR-ASPIRE Scheme: Empowering Women Scientists
On 14th June, 2024, Ministry of Science & Technology informed that 300 women scientists have been selected to receive research grants for three years under the CSIR-ASPIRE scheme.
What is CSIR-ASPIRE Scheme?
- ASPIRE (A Scheme for Promotion of Innovation, Rural Industries and Entrepreneurship) scheme is an initiative by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) to provide research grants to women scientists and technologists.
- The Scheme is aligned with the Government’s initiative to empower women and promote ‘Nari Shakti’ in the country.
