CCI’s New Regulations for Big Tech Entities
On 8th June, 2024, Competition Commission of India (CCI) proposed new regulations to monitor the settlements, and commitments of tech industry giants.
- The regulations came from the Competition (Amendment) Act, 2023, which introduced new provisions and updating the existing ones in the Competition Act, 2002.

- To ensure greater transparency, accountability, and compliance in the tech industry.
