Network for Greening the Financial System
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) recently joined the Central Banks and Supervisors Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS) as a member.
About NGFS
- It is a group of central banks and supervisors willing to share best practises and contribute to the development of environmental and climate risk management in the financial sector, as well as mobilise mainstream finance to support the transition to a sustainable economy.
- It was launched on December 12, 2017, at the Paris One Planet Summit.
- Its secretariat is held by the Banque de France, and its members include central banks and financial ....
