Ministry of Electronics and Information and Technology (MeitY) has released draft National Strategy on Blockchain.

About Blockchain

  • A blockchain is a digital ledger of transactions (DLT) that is duplicated and distributed across the blockchain's complete network of computer systems. Blockchain is a sort of DLT in which blocks are connected in a linear fashion. (This may not be the case with other DLT kinds.) As a result, while all blockchains are DLT, not all DLT platforms are blockchains.
