ISRO Launches EOS-04 and Two Other Satellites
On 14th February, 2022, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) successfully launched three satellites – earth observation satellite EOS-04 and two small satellites (INSPIRESat-1 and INS-2TD) - onboard the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle PSLV-C52.
The Launch
- The first launch of ISRO in 2022, it was the 54th flight of PSLV and the 23rd flight of PSLV in XL configuration (with 6 strap-on motors).
- It was launched from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, SHAR, Sriharikota (Andhra Pradesh).
- PSLV-C52 injected Earth Observation Satellite EOS-04 into an intended sun synchronous polar orbit of 529 km altitude.
