About African Elephants
- These are two subspecies of African elephants that are both threatened by ivory poaching and human encroachment.
- Forest elephants can be found in Central African tropical forests and a variety of environments in West Africa.
- African elephants are the largest land creatures on the planet, and they can be found in a variety of settings throughout Sub-Saharan Africa, including grasslands and deserts.
