Turkey Discovers a Large Natural Gas Reserve in Black Sea
- Turkish President announced recently that Turkey had discovered its largest-ever deposit of natural gas in the Black Sea, a move that could help the country reduce its dependence on energy imports from other countries such as Russia, Iran, and Azerbaijan.
- The discovery included 320 billion cubic meters of natural gas. Turkey aims to use the discovered natural gas by 2023.
