Virgin Hyperloop One Signs an agreement to build a Hyperloop
India’s hyperloop dream moved one step closer to reality with the Maharashtra government approving the Virgin Hyperloop-DP World (VHO-DPW) consortium as the “original project proponent” of the proposed hyperloop track between Mumbai and Pune.
Key Features
- The hyperloop train (pod, to be specific) would reduce the travel time between Mumbai and Pune to about 23 minutes, from nearly 3 and a half hours .
- The project is expected to take seven years to complete but a pilot project will run before that in Pune, on an 11.8 km ....
