Greta Thunberg’s ‘Climate Strike’ Becomes a Global Movement
Student activist Greta Thunberg’s school strike movement marked its first anniversary on 20TH August after a year that has seen the schoolgirl rise from a solitary protester to a leading figure in the fight against climate change. After a two-week sail across the Atlantic, youth climate activist Greta Thunberg arrived in the Big Apple to take part in two major climate summits to be held at UN Headquarters in September.
